Unlock Teac DVD players - DVD hack

Teac DV-1000 / DV-2000 / DV-2150 / DV-2200 / DV-3000

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Press 2, 1, 6, 8
  3. Use ENTER to select the region (9 = codefree)
  4. Close the disc tray

Teac DV-2120 / DV-2170

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Press 1, 3, 6, 9
  4. (Press LEFT, LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT)
  5. Select region with UP/DOWN (0 = codefree)
  6. Press ENTER
  7. Press SETUP
  8. Close the disc tray

Teac DV-2180 / DV-2190K

(same as above?)
  1. Turn on the player (without a disc inserted)
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Press 1, 3, 6, 9
  4. (Press LEFT, LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT)
  5. A new menu entry appears ("Version")
  6. Select it
  7. Go to "Region" and select 0 for multi-region
  8. Press SETUP

Teac DV-3120 / DV-3150 / DV-3170 / PL-D1400

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Press VOL+, VOL-, VOL+, VOL-
  4. Select region (255 = codefree)
  5. (Press ENTER)
  6. Close tray

Teac DV-3300

  1. Open tray
  2. Press REPEAT
  3. Enter 9, 5, 2
  4. Press REPEAT
  5. Enter the region you want (0 = multi-region)
  6. Press REPEAT
  7. Power off

Teac DV-3500

  1. Open tray
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Enter 9, 3, 0, 1, 0
  4. Press STEP, SHUFFLE, NEXT
  5. Close tray
  6. Power off and on again

Teac DV-3800 / DV-3800VK

  1. Open tray
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Enter 9, 2, 1, 0
  4. Select region (0 = multi-region)
  5. Press SETUP

Teac DV-4000

  1. Open the tray
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Press RIGHT, RIGHT, RIGHT
  4. Enter 1, 3, 7, 9
  5. Enter 0 for multi-region
  6. Press SETUP
  7. Close the tray
  8. Turn the player off

Teac DV-C200

  1. Open tray
  2. Press VOL+, LANGUAGE
  3. Enter 2, 3, 7, 9, 2, 2, 2
  4. Select region using UP/DOWN (0 = multi-region)
  5. Press ENTER

Teac DV-H350 / DV-H550

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Press CLEAR
  3. Press 2, 5, 8, 0
  4. "Testmode" is displayed
  5. Press UP, UP
  6. "1402" is displayed
  7. Press 0, 0, ENTER
  8. "1400" is displayed
  9. Press UP, UP
  10. "1235" is displayed
  11. Press 3, 3, ENTER
  12. Display changes to "1233"
  13. Press RETURN, RETURN
  14. Close the disc tray
  15. Turn the player off

Teac DV-L800

  1. Open tray
  2. Press CLEAR
  3. Enter 2, 5, 8, 0
  4. Press CLEAR
  5. Go down to "1402"
  6. Press 0, 0, ENTER
  7. Go down to "1333"
  8. Press 7, 3, ENTER
  9. Go down to "1235"
  10. Press 7, 3, ENTER
  11. Press RETURN, RETURN
  12. Power off

Teac DV-M5000

  1. Press PLAY ("NO DSC" will be displayed)
  2. Press GO TO, PREV, NEXT, DISPLAY
  3. Press 3, 3, 0, 8
  4. Press ENTER

Teac DV-P100 / DV-P300G / DV-P1010 / PL-D1200 / PL-D1220 / PL-D1500 / PL-D1520

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Press 8, 1, 3, 2, 8
  3. Select region using ENTER (9 = codefree)
  4. Close the disc tray

Teac DVR101 / DVR201 / DVR301

  1. Insert a DVD
  2. Press STOP, CLEAR
  3. Enter 2, 5, 8, 0
  4. Press CLEAR
  5. Select the region (0 = multi-region)
  6. Press RETURN

Teac MVD-100 ?

  1. Open the tray
  2. Press 0, 5, 2, 0
  3. Pres UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT
  4. Close the tray

Teac PL-D1000

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Press 3, 8, 3, 8
  3. Select region (9 = codefree)
  4. Close tray

Teac PL-D2000

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Press and hold RETURN on the remote
  3. Press DISPLAY
  4. A line with letters and digits should appear
  5. Press DISPLAY several times until the last digit is 0
  6. Release RETURN
  7. Press ANLGE

Teac PL-D2200

  1. Open tray
  2. Press and hold RETURN and VOL+
  3. Release the keys
  4. Press 2, 3, 7, 9, 2, 2, 2
  5. Select region (0 = multi-region)
  6. Press ENTER
