Unlock Mustek DVD players - DVD hack

Mustek DVD-50S / DVD-3000 / DVD-PL207 / DVD-V56L / DVD-V56L 2C / DVD-V56L 5C / DVD-V56L 5E / DVD-V56LM 2E / DVD-V56S / DVD-V56S 2C / DVD-V100 / DVD-V200 / DVD-V520 / DVD-V560 / DVD-V561 / DVD-V562 / HT-713 / ScanMagic V100 / ScanMagic V200 / ScanMagic V300

  1. Turn on the player (without a disc inserted)
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Press NEXT CHAPTER, PREV CHAPTER, NEXT CHAPTER, PREV CHAPTER (maybe several times)
  4. "VerX" is displayed (X=RC)
  5. Select RC (255 = codefree)
  6. Press SETUP

Mustek DVD-PL407H / DVD-PL408 / DVD-V600 RS 325 / DTV-407

  1. Turn on the player (without a disc inserted)
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Press NEXT CHAPTER, PREV CHAPTER, NEXT CHAPTER, PREV CHAPTER
  4. Current RC should be displayed
  5. Select the RC with RIGHT and LEFT (255 = codefree)
  6. Press SETUP twice

Mustek DVD-R100A

  1. Turn on the player (without a disc inserted)
  2. Press STOP
  3. Press 0, 0, 0, 0
  4. Press the button for the desired RC (0 = codefree)

Mustek DVD-R100B

  1. Turn on the player (without a disc inserted)
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Press RETURN, INFO
  4. Press 8, 8, 8 0
  5. A message should be displayed
  6. Turn the player off

Mustek DVD-V300

  1. Turn on the player (no disc)
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Press NEXT, STOP, PAUSE/STEP, PREV, NEXT
  4. Now you can change the RC

Mustek DVD-V520 - old model

  1. Press SETUP
  2. Press VOLUME UP, VOLUME DOWN, VOLUME UP, VOLUME DOWN
  3. "VER 2" will be displayed
  4. Press LEFT till "VER 255" is displayed
  5. Press SETUP

Mustek DVD-V600 RZ

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Press 8, 4, 2, 1
  3. A menu should pop up
  4. Select RC with ENTER (9 = codefree)

Mustek MP70B / MP70C / MP72 / MP80B

  1. Power on
  2. Open tray
  3. Enter 9, 7, 3, 5
  4. Change region (0 = multi-region)
