Unlock Marantz DVD players - DVD hack

Marantz DV-12S2 / DV-8400

    To enable DVI:
  1. Turn on the player. No disc should be inserted.
  2. Press 1, 7, 3, 2, 0, 5, 0, 8, Enter
  3. DVI output is now enabled

Marantz DV-17 / DV-18 / DV-7010

  1. Turn on the player (without a disc inserted)
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Select "General" with RIGHT
  4. Select entry "Basic" with DOWN
  5. Release OSD
  6. Current RC should be displayed
  7. Press "Condition Memory"
  8. Press the button for the desired RC
  9. Press SETUP

Marantz DV-890 / DV-4000

  1. Press PLAY, 2, 7, 4
  2. 2 lines appear on display

  3. For RC1 enter the code 005 000 128 156
  4. For RC2 enter the code 002 000 128 156

  5. Press PLAY

Marantz DV-3100 / DV-4200 / DV-4200 FN / DV-6200 / VC-5200

  1. Turn on the player (no disc)
  2. Wait until "No Disc" is displayed
  3. Press PAUSE, 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9
  4. "CODE" should be displayed
  5. Enter RC (0=Multiregion)
  6. Press Pause

Marantz DV-4000

  1. Turn on the player (without a disc inserted)
  2. Press "Dimmer" on the player
  3. Press "Previous" on the player
  4. Press 1, 9, 9, 9
  5. The following codes can be entered:

    01 for RC 1
    02 for RC 2
    04 for RC 3
    08 for RC 4
    10 for RC 5
    20 for RC 6
    00 for RC 0

  6. Press ENTER
  7. Turn the player off and on again

Marantz DV-4100 OSE

    If you have an OneForAll remote:
  1. Set the player type to "0539" with the MAGIC key.
  2. Press MAGIC, 0, 8 and 5.
  3. A few lines are displayed. enter 222 222 005 255 and press PLAY.Ready!
    For the remote "SBC RU880":
  1. Press and hold 1 and 6 until SYNTH is displayed.
  2. Press 2, 3 and 5.

Marantz DV-4300

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Press 9,1,1,1,1 (or 1-6 instead of 9)
  4. Press PAUSE/STEP
  5. Press SHUFFLE
  6. Press NEXT

Marantz DV-7000

  1. Turn on the player (without a disc inserted)
  2. Press 'Next' and 'Previous' on the player simultaneously
  3. Region 2 is displayed
  4. Press STOP on the player for about 5-6 secs
  5. Region 0 is displayed
  6. Press PLAY on the player
  7. "Region 0 OK" is displayed
  8. Turn the player off and on

Marantz DV-7500 / DV-7600

  1. Power on
  2. Open the disc tray
  3. Press Clear, 2, 5, 8, 0, Clear
    Display shows "TESTMODE"
  4. Press the Down button until "1215" is displayed
  5. Press 1, 3, Enter
    Display shows "1213"
  6. Press the Up button until "1402" is displayed
  7. Press 0, 0, Enter
    Display shows "1400"
  8. Power off and on again
