1. Press OPEN (open disc tray)
2. Insert an audio CD
3. Press OPEN (close disc tray), MENU, 1, INDEX (1-All), OPEN, 1

1. Press OPEN/CLOSE
2. Enter 8, 4, 2, 1 (or 9817)
3. Press ENTER (or Select)
4. Select the region (9=multi region)
5. Press OPEN/CLOSE (or Eject)

2. Enter 1, 3, 6, 9
3. Press Left, Left, Left, Right
4. Enter the menu VERSION and select the region using the Right key (0=multi region)
5. Press SETUP
